Customer concerned about unit not cooling properly. Unit is 30 years old and and rusty coils and interior components. Located the evaporator coil is compacted and not letting air to breathe properly. Needs to be pulled and cleaned properly to letting air breathe into the machine. Located dirty blower motor is caked with dirt and debris and needs to be pulled out and cleaned properly to ensure good air flow. Located the outside condenser unit coil is compacted and not letting air pass thru coil and breathe properly. Strongly recommend new unit replacement due old age equipment and no warranty. The unit is struggling to cooling the house and require repair cleaning will not extend life to this ac system. I have placed an estimate for cleaning old system. Not recommended on 30 yr old ac system.

Membership is due for renewal. Customer is selling the home. Customer was concerned about a loud noise from the outdoor unit. Unit was sounding normal. Checked all electrical components, Freon levels, and delta t. Cleared and flushed the drain line. System is working well and within normal range. Summary: customer mentioned small gap in supply. We can use a foam spray to seal the top of the supply duct. I suggest a UVC germicidal unit for inside the cabinet to help keep it clean and improve indoor air quality. I collected signatures and payment. This job has been completed. Thank you for choosing Total Air!

Customer concerned about unit smells when running cooling. Customer has moved in new home and is concerned about cooling properly. Checked blower motor operation and inspected equipment cabinet. Checked thermostat calibration and filter location. Checked refrigerant levels and check test start up components. Recommend the pure AirX germicidal uvc light and new oxidation probe to eliminate the odors problem with smell in the home. Pure AirX germicidal uvc will treat the air stream and eliminate biological growth and bacteria. The uvv probe will eliminate the odors and contamination in air flow. I have place an estimate for new membership to help reduce cost on repair and maintenance inspections on ac equipment. Customer has approved for added refrigerant to the condenser unit. And air care membership. Customer has approved for new pure AirX germicidal uvc light and oxidation probe. Installed and pictures taken. Thank you for choosing total air.

Performed maintenance on Nordyne system installed in 2016. Ms Clark moved into the home two years ago and condo was vacant for several years prior. Removed leaves and debris from outdoor unit. Cleared drain line from inside unit due to it running into main drain. Capacitor 12% weak for outdoor fan which will lead to premature motor failure. Recommended to client on replacing the dual capacitor with a Turbo 200 which she opted to move forward with. Indoor and outdoor coils clean at this time. Heat pump operating well and refrigerant good in the system. Applied a $50 gift card bringing the total collected to 218.54 paid with visa. Job complete.

Upon arrival to schedule system maintenance, I was shown to an air handling unit located in the upstairs closet. Space. The homeowner immediately informed me that the system had been off and non-operational for the past month. I switched over to a service call. Upon initial diagnosis of the no cooling/no heating I found the low-voltage fuse to be popped, causing the system to not be able to run in any mode. Started to diagnose the issue and found the wiring for the heater kit to have shorted. The heat kit needs to be replaced to restore, secondary heating to the system. I’m also recommended replacing the thermostat wiring just to avoid any low-voltage shortage issues in the future. Changed out the systems, low-voltage fuse and start the system in the cooling mode. The system is operating in the cooling mode, but upon opening the air handler cabinet. I found very significant amount of oil all over the evaporator coil. Refrigerant leaks with oil. Went outside to verify refrigerant p

Called out today due to water leaking into the drain pan. Upon arrival there was some water in the drain pan and a heavy clog in the drain line. Gave options for chemical treatment, and preventative maintenance. The insulation is soaked in the air handler so I recommended shutting the unit off for the night and running the fan only to help dry it out. Emergency pan is heavy rusted and not equipped with a float switch I’m the pan or drain line. Checked all electronics and motor components to ensure equipment is operating properly within manufacture specifications. Evaporator coil is corroded and rusted and joints. Blower wheel is dirty. Measured the temperature drop across the coil. Checked refrigerant pressures and took amp draws. Performed a drain solve treatment and removed the water from the pan as a member courtesy. Enrolled in maintenance agreement. Equipment is operating at this time. Machine is 10 years old and in poor shape, it can and will break at anytime. Thank

Complete replacement of evaporator coil. I removed the old coil and installed the new coil at the air handler. Pictures are uploaded. I performed a high pressure test on the copper to ensure there are no leaks present. I pulled a deep vacuum down to 500 microns on the copper line-set to ensure it is clean. I added (12) lbs of 410a refrigerant to the system which charged it to the manufacturer’s specification. System is now in good working order. Thank you for choosing Total Air!

Office please order Replacement filters for size 19x24 Upon arrival to the scheduled system maintenance, I was shown to the a/h in the laundry room and c/u on the side of the home. I pulled off the panel door to inspect all electrical components connections, collect amp draw/voltage readings off electrical equipment, and check the unit for cleanliness. The evaporator coil and the blower fan is clean. It has a uv light system and bulb is good. The d/t temperature was within normal range. All electrical components were secure and within factory range. I tested the heat strip and float safety switch. I replaced the EAC filter. I then vacuumed the condensate drain line to remove and blockage or debris. I ensured this was draining properly. The c/u system refrigerant charge is within normal range and all electrical components are secure. I collected amp draw/voltage readings and everything is working properly. Customer mentioned the board was replaced due to it having burnt marks. She s

Called out today due to no cooling. Upon arrival system was running but intermittently cooling. Found float switch tripped and a heavily impacted drain pan/coil. Gave options for coil cleanings, capacitor replacement, membership, and drain treatment. Client decided to enroll in our preventative maintenance plan and a drain solve treatment. I checked all electronics and motor components to ensure equipment is operating properly within manufacture specifications. Filter is clean. Evaporator coil needs to be pulled and cleaned. There is a lot of biological growth within the air handler. The blower motor capacitor has failed due to manufacture specifications. Measured the temperature drop across the coil. Checked refrigerant pressures. Performed a drain solve treatment. Allowed chemical to sit for 20 minutes and then flushed four gallons of hot water. Vacuumed clear from outdoor port. Equipment is operating at this time. Thank you for always choosing Total Air!

ECM Motor and Module multi 5 speed tap 1/2 hp. Return today to remove faulty indoor blower motor. Replaced bad indoor evaporator motor with new OEM factory warranty evaporator motor. Turn system on and it came on to cool. Suggest maintenance cleaning on evaporator coil and inside of air handler cabinet. I have also included an estimate option for some different indoor air quality to keep your system and the aerial breathing clean.

Indoor fan is not responsive when 24V is applied. There is high voltage present feeding the ECM module, which means the power is there for the motor to do work and the 24 V. It’s also there to send a signal to turn on the motor but the motor is not turning on. The motor and Module needs to be replaced.
